We are currently running 24/7 at our facility. Unfortunately we do not have any more floor space within the facility we occupy, so it’s not as easy as buying machines and “hitting go”. In the few weeks before the recent tragedy we were just weeks away from acquiring a new facility and more machinery. This would be a financial commitment that would take years to recoup. The machines we use range in cost from 400k-1million dollars, not including tooling, operators and training.

We have determined that due to the attitude of the current administration, it would not be fiscally responsible or in the best interests of our valued employees to take the risk of adding a new facility. We value our employees and do not want open a new facility, and hire a new crew to then turn around and lay them off if there is new legislation passed.

We hope that all of our customers and fans understand. We will continue to do our best to get parts out to you guys. We also encourage anyone who comes across one of our “authorized dealers” (on our website) price gouging to contact us via email @ sales@megaarms.com

Statement 2 regarding RECOIL Magazine:

As many of you know, this month’s RECOIL magazine contains an article that has brought into question RECOIL’s support of the Second Amendment. We here at MEGA are extremely disappointed by these comments, and the reaction from RECOIL. On Monday we announced our future advertising plans with RECOIL were going to be determined over the next few days.

Our customers purchase our products to exercise their Second Amendment rights, and to protect them! We only align ourselves with other companies that share the unwavering passion for the freedoms we all share. These freedoms are ours and remain so because they have been fought for, time and again, against those who believe that these rights are dangerous and should be removed.

We think there are too many questions about the true motivation behind RECOIL’s article and their support of the Second Amendment to continue supporting their publication. Where the second amendment is concerned, we and RECOIL exists at opposite poles. Taking all of this into consideration, we have decided not to renew any of our advertising with RECOIL magazine at this time. We hope in the future RECOIL is able to show us, and everyone that truly supports the Second Amendment that they share in our passionate support of our liberties.

Announcement regarding Mega Arms Monolithic MTS upper receivers: 

We have both good news and also tough news to deliver. So to quickly get the bad news out of the way: we are no longer manufacturing, or offering for sale, our MTS Monolithic upper receivers. This includes sets involving the MTS upper in AR-15 and MATEN. If you are a custom MTS client, please contact us (contact area is at the bottom of all pages).

You must be wondering why we are taking this step. No, we did not have any safety or quality issues. You already know that our MTS upper is made to our high expectations and has been the pinnacle of the industry since its inception. We recently became aware that a competitor is about to obtain a patent, and we believe that this competitor will assert its patent against us. We have strong defenses, but we are not a large company that can sustain ongoing litigation expenses. Plus we would rather be working on providing a superior replacement.

The good news is that we are working on a new platform that far exceeds anything currently offered in the industry. It will be exactly what you would expect from Mega Arms. We have no specific time frame on when we will be able to start shipping the new platform, but stay tuned for news on that front.

The MTS upper for AR-15 and MATEN has been a huge success for us at Mega Arms, and we are just as disappointed as you are with this decision and change. We convey our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause to you or your customers. We at Mega Arms look forward to our new platform, and believe that it will be a platform that the industry would expect to see from us at Mega Arms!
